Privacy Policy
How Atlus AI collects, uses, shares, and protects your information, and the rights you have over it.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Atlus AI LLC ("Atlus", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you visit atlusai.app, use our website, or access the Atlus AI workspace at https://chat.atlusai.app (collectively, the "Service").
We are committed to transparency. This Policy describes the categories of data we process, the legal bases on which we rely, the third parties with whom we share data, and the choices and rights available to you. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Information we collect
Account and profile information: your name, email address, and any details you provide when creating or managing your account, plus your selected plan and subscription status.
User content: prompts, messages, uploaded files, saved conversations, artifacts, and configuration such as system prompts and connector settings that you choose to store in your workspace.
Connector and integration data: when you connect third-party services (for example Gmail, Google Drive, or Notion), we process the data those services return in response to your instructions, strictly to fulfill the action you request.
Usage and device data: information about how you interact with the Service (features used, performance metrics, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and diagnostic logs).
Cookies and similar technologies: as described in our Cookie Policy, we use essential cookies to operate the Service and optional analytics cookies to understand usage. We do not use advertising cookies.
How we use information
To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including routing your prompts to the model providers you select and returning their outputs.
To secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, authenticate sessions, and investigate violations of our policies.
To communicate with you about your account, service changes, security notices, and—where you have opted in—product updates.
To analyze usage in aggregate and improve the reliability, performance, and relevance of the Service.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you request); legitimate interests (security, analytics, and product improvement); consent (non-essential analytics cookies and marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time); and compliance with legal obligations.
You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
International data transfers
Because our infrastructure and model partners operate globally, your information may be processed in India, the United States, the European Economic Area, and other jurisdictions. Where we transfer personal data from the EEA or the UK to a country that has not been deemed adequate, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Data retention
We retain account information for the life of your account. Conversation and artifact content is retained until you delete it or close your account; deleted content is purged from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days.
Usage logs are retained for up to 24 months in anonymized or aggregated form for security and analytics. We retain records necessary to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations for the period required by applicable law.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export (data portability), restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. EU/EEA and UK users have these rights under the GDPR; California residents have analogous rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of any sale or sharing (we do neither); and users in India have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@atlusai.app or use the self-service export and deletion tools in your account settings. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally one month under the GDPR, and 45 days under the CCPA, extendable where permitted).
You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We ask that you contact us first so we can address your concern.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher) and at rest, role-based access controls, network isolation, and continuous monitoring. We do not use your private conversations to train models without your explicit consent.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for the activity that occurs under your account.
Children
The Service is not directed to and may not be used by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service or by email before they take effect. The 'Last updated' date reflects the most recent revision.
